Serious question. Why am I STILL getting texts asking for money? The ones I've gotten the last few days aren't from the Harris/Watz campaign. But hasn't TV time been bought, fliers printed, volunteers recruited, etc. I just got this one, and I'm annoyed by the content:

(damn it) Kamala will LOSE in Pa. if we can't afford our voter turnout teams! Rush $20 Blah blah blah and we'll TRIPLE it.

What does that even mean?
Campaigns borrow money. THey need to earn the capital to pay the loans back.

Yes but all that stuff is purchased on credit. Plus, a lot of organizations like to bank funds for the future.

Folks, may I present to you the absolute craziest fucking...uh.....endorsement...is it an endorsement?...of Kamala Harris you will ever see. I laughed so many times reading this.

There are still ongoing turnout and phone banking efforts. Still ad buys being made, probably. And importantly, resources are likely to be needed for post-election day legal fights.

OK. Got it. That all makes sense, and I guess I knew it. Just seems like there's a better way to phrase than "Damn it. Kamala will LOSE!"

I'm not really here for a lot of shrill language.

the man knows his shit

Reading that gave me the first chills about the potential result I have had
I saw him on MSNBC and he was about as hedged as a man can be, said it’s a true toss up and he’s just throwing the dice in Kamala’s direction.

I'm still getting them, as well. I guess when I deleted that tweet, I doomed Kamala to losing in PA. Sorry, y'all.

Yeah they are not targeting the brightest people with those ads I think. Just using a large shotgun approach and hoping to get some response.

Me either, but I'm confident that all campaigns use that sort of urgent language because it's proven to raise the most money.

Azealia Banks is bat-shit crazy, but I guess that's a plus when you're able to create the first endorsement to double as surrealist art.

I’ve received 13 texts in the last 5 hours.

I’ve decided to change my vote to Trump.

It's absolutely nerve wracking. I need a basketball marathon until it's over.

Kamala has had recent trends go her way as Trump's insanity and fascist, misogynist, xenophobic rhetoric have been on display (when have they not?). Helene and Milton effects are still a concern as the Trump/Russian bot bulls*t firehose swamped the campaign. Jen O'Malley needed to send Kamala early and more often into the fray in NC and FL. The anti-FEMA scheme was debunked but the sheeple effect still worries me.

The Republican women - suburban voters - college grad - far left coalition strategy Harris and Walz have put together has a good chance. They've got the ground game. Coalition strategies work in many countries, especially with parliamentary governments. However, the EC coalition strategy while rarely used since Reagan is sound. Trump is relying on his base and finding people who are even more "base!"

They are just running through the tape.

Dems/DCCC use panic far too often as a motivating tool.

Trump uses outrage, hate identity politics, and grifting instead.
