It’s really difficult to take accusations about “democrats being emotional” seriously, when your side keeps trying to elect an irrational fat little cunt who has, throughout his existence, subsisted on making emotional arguments about how he is a victim despite the fact that he has managed to trip his way to one of the most charmed lives by grifting others and telling them how they are also victims.Well, no shit! The people who didn't agree with me were a) liberal and b) often making an emotional argument because it's "mean" to refer to homosexuals as abnormal.
Is this like when you tried to change the meaning of the word abnormal the other day?Yep and around 2010, as words are known to do on occasion, "woke" had a change in meaning.
Using a verb as an adjective. Like dominate instead of dominant. What does woke mean?
Don't confuse my talking about Trump with me supporting Trump or any of the looney toon MAGA Republicans. There is zero chance vote for Trump. I'm in AZ and I will be voting for Ruben Gallego (D) over Kari Lake.Zen probably knows the real reason Trump is still a major force and threat, though he should have no chance.
1) The only demographic Trump has ever won is "uneducated white males." The only other he has come close to winning is "uneducated white females."
2) Republican reps who know better (not the loons in the freedom caucus, MTG, Bobo so many others) but the intelligent sane ones were too cowardly to stand up to Trump. Cruz, Rubio, Mitch, McCarthy, Lindsey Graham, Vance, most others, told us exactly what Trump is and what they think of him. But all the cowards lie and stump for him out of self preservation and the (R). There are not enough brave ethical members in the party like Cheney, Kinzinger, most of Trump's admin. and cabinet.
3) The supposed intelligent voters of the party that self rationalize in voting for Trump another major factor. These are not the uneducated gullible misinformed whites that form the base of the party. These are people like Zen and Heelyeah being as spineless as the reps in the point above. And they rationalize it to themselves. Like Zen here trying to blame Dems for the rise of Trump.
Sorry Zen, it is you and all the others above responsible for inflicting Trump upon us.
I voted Pub for over 30 years, I've never voted Trump. Now, I won't even vote for any of his enablers, the entire Pub, or more acurately. against the entire MAGA ticket.
You could do the right thing also instead of continuing to make excuses for being part of the problem.

Yet the title references something that Trump specifically did....that started the current conversation about him. This thread is about the Dem ticket
One of my best friends from college does not really fall into any of these categories. He had voted for Obama twice, but was staunchly against Clinton (yes, the smear campaign was very effective). He acknowledged that was that, although Trump was an idiot, he would still surround himself with good people. He was also the prototypical low information voter. He quickly realized his mistake and voted for Biden in 2020 and will vote for Harris in 2024.I believe the majority of trump voters in 2016 consisted of people that believed in the expected elevated position of white men.
That manifest in many ways.
Hating that a black man had been elected.
Being a flat out racist.
Believing women shouldn't be leaders.
Believing men are above women in general.
Believing that there was an active movement to equalize others with that perceived exalted status of the white man.
I'm sure not all fell into this category. But the fact that they didn't call out their fellow Republicans that did is almost as damning as being in the racist and misogynistic group.

Agreed, and the only reason anyone would vote for him again is because of racism, bigotry, Christian nationalism, and if they are rich and greedyI believe the majority of trump voters in 2016 consisted of people that believed in the expected elevated position of white men.

With this many reps she should keep getting better. So she just interviewed on the Shade Room. Interviewing on Fox News. Interviewing with Charlamagne Tha God. Doing the CNN Town Hall.
I like it. They will rip her for a weird answer here or there, but by and large, she will get more air time. More air time = votes.
