Why people can't at least take 5 seconds on Twitter to look at how many followers someone has before posting something is beyond me.

Yeah, that 180-follower Twitter account is totally really a college basketball reporter.
 
I get that people want resolution quickly but I do really believe that we want to have the next coach pretty much figured out before announcing anything - if this drags into next week I'll really start to get concerned

Yeah, if he isn't going to resign then there's no other option. Sorry, but there needs to be a change and Hubert shouldn't be allowed to stay just because he's part of the Carolina family and is a good person.

How do you know that this is on Hubert? It might be, but can you give me a reason or something you've heard that he's said that makes you blame him? Or is it just that old habits die hard?

I think you're overreacting a bit. I'm just wondering what else the problem could be if he agreed to step down. If he is and they don't want to pay him, then that's on the university.

“Hubert, we’ve decided to make a coaching change. We can either pay you part of your buyout in exchange for letting you resign and putting on a good front publicly, or we can just straight up fire you and pay your full buyout, but we won’t attempt to make the announcement sound like a mutual decision to help you save face. Those are the two options”.

100% speculation on my part, but I could see it playing out like that. Personally I wish they would just pay him the full buyout and do him a solid by framing it as a mutual parting of ways. I guess we’ll see though. I’m not getting bent out of shape about it until we get an official update and more
details come to light.
