Not saying it’s the Jersey Heel who posted on IC for YEARS; but, Jersey Heel was a long-time poster on IC.
Yes. I recognized the name but also not sure that's the same person or that ,if it is, they still think the same.

I know, I'm a terrible person.
But, are we? Is it really worth the stress of having to deal with these lies? I know "Family".

But sometimes I'm just not sure about my extended family.

I really try to just stay away from the conversations, but if we don't talk about it how will there ever be any change?

I don't know
I have a brother that lived in Gingrinchs district years ago He evolved easily into a super Mag ite
We (text) talk sports-thats about it I have found no other nuances that work-I have tried and it always evolves quickly into a machine gun of fake facts

I haven't even asked my brother and sister. They are both members of conservative churches but not overtly Trumpian. If they did vote for him and say anything, I'll remind them of how our mom would have voted and they'll shut up.

The way I handled dealing with MAGA relatives yesterday was to identify what we have in common and when we talked, focused on that. My most MAGA relative and I both got our first hearing aids about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I think I'm set for conversations with her for the rest of my life.

My FIL came over for dinner yesterday.

He's a special case. He's a nice guy, but he has never had a backbone.

He basically believes what anyone tells him and he gives far too much credit to those who go to church, even though several church members have fucked him out of money over the years.

We were talking yesterday and he, for some reason, stated "Trumps going to fix it". The whole family stopped and looked at him. My wife told him that we don't believe that and we don't talk about that man in our house. He got the message pretty quickly and stopped.

He's a very low information voter. I guarantee if we talked about issues he would have no clue about anything other than someone at church told him that trump would fix it.
