You can't possibly be serious. He's still fighting over the 2020 election and J6. He's still got grudges from his first term and is acting on them. He sure as hell didn't course correct on Covid. He didn't course correct on killing Obamacare.

And more recently, even though DOGE has been making loads and loads of mistakes, firing people stupidly, eviscerating critical infrastructure, and saving basically no money, Trump continues to give Elon a green light.

In what universe does Trump course correct once he gets his mind made up?
 
Trump course corrects since he arrives at the office with the attitude that every day is a new day - "let's just see what happens." He's transactional and nonideological.

Trump does hold grudges but it appears he plans to "forgive" Z by his announcement of the minerals deal with Ukraine in tonight's SOTU. If so, it would be a huge shift from just Friday afternoon.
 
When you have a party who purposely (and the fact that illegal immigration is down by 90+ percent since Trump became president with the exact same immigration laws only proves it was on purpose) flooded the country with illegal immigrants from all over the world leading to all the problems that will surly result, who has no desire to aggressively prosecute criminals, who wants to call a mother an inseminated person, who can't find a dollar they don't want to spend, who thinks men should be able to compete in women's sports, who can't even tell you what a woman is to begin with, and this is just a small sample of a long list of craziness....what do you expect?

It's not course correction until he stops taking Putin's side and starts taking Ukraine's side, and stops shitting on our allies.

I think this played out so trump could announce the deal tonight so he could get the maximum amount of praise possible

JD Vance is only the nominee if Trump dies before the end of his first term; Vance is not winning a contested nomination fight.

Hard to believe anyone could be that out of touch. Problem is that every national, high profile position, the faces of the party are filled with radical and divisive people. Not a Jeff Jackson type to be found anywhere. How do you get rid of aoc, newsome, warren, bernie (although I like bernie from the standpoint he is genuine), and kamala. There doesn't seem to be any room for a JJ.

And you see "it's a new day let's see what happens" as preferable to let's have a systematic plan for improving the country?

He should be asking for forgivness not expecting it.
