I didn't say I was upset. I said, or implied, that it shouldn't be permitted.

There's no right for males to play female sports.

Maybe we can give this opinion a number, so you don't have to type it out in the future you can just post the number and well all know that you hate trans athletes.

So, would they rather share the MAGA priorities of greed, racism, and bigotry, and the Pubs that are complicit with it? No matter what they think the priorities of Dems are they still aren't ones founded in greed and hate.

Trump definitely has a coalition. The problem is, it's not a coalition built on being a great leader or being inspirational or being wise. It's largely built on fear and lies. Fear of the maga mob who can cost you your job in the primaries and now Elon musk who has the money to take you out in the primaries.

Lies being any number of things but especially the lie of a stolen election in 2020 which very few congressional Republicans were willing to call him out on, again, because of the maga mob.

Trump is right on some things, but his lies have done more damage to our country than any person I can think of.

1 and 3 are easy to answer. Because tariffs, like EOs, are something he can do with a stroke of a pen (ignoring for a second the improper delegation by Congress of the constitutional power to regulate trade).

If you give Trump a power, he will use it. Trump has the tariff hammer and he is out looking for nails. He wants to swing that hammer because he likes to exercise power for the mere sake of exercising power. Trump enacts tariffs for the same reason people like to climb mountains -- because they are there.

Also, Trump has had a long-standing belief since the 1980s (when Japan was buying up Manhattan real estate) that the US is getting the short-end of the stick in the new international world order. No matter how much logic or economic analysis is presented to him, his default belief is that other countries are taking advantage of us. So, swinging the tariff hammer makes him feel like he is doing something to combat unfairness.

These two points -- his inclination to exercise power that does not require congressional approval and his distrust of the current world order -- explains why he enacted the tariffs.

Yes. The questions were largely rhetorical. The point is that nothing he is doing makes any sense from a perspective other than Trump doing Trump things.

No, I'm not a transphobe, nor am I bad at math. I've just continued to recognize what the entirety of the country recognized, prior to the recent progressive movement. Males and females are different and they should not compete against each other.

Democrats have always been big on following the science. Well, why would you stop now?

Glad you’re so “concerned” about my personal life. Since you’re curious, my immediate and extended family are close and regularly celebrate together at Christmas and at the beach over the 4th. I have plenty of liberal friends and we get along great. My Episcopal Cathedral has enjoyed steady growth in attendance the past 3 years.

Not sure where you’re going other than to try and paint Republicans as angry, bitter folks. Project much? I would ask who on this board is bitter and angry? Not my team. Enjoy your evening.
