No way on this earth you think she would be a good president or that she is qualified or competent to be president. Her only qualification to you guys is she isn’t trump. No way any objective, educated person thinks she is anything but a prop.
Turn off fox news. Look at her qualifications, look at her proposals, look at her record, not what Cucker Tarlson says about her.

I agree with you there are some awful abortion laws out there post-Roe. I am a pro choice Republican, as a reminder.

They tried to press Walz on the specifics of the law on abortion in Minnesota and he completely danced around the question.
I know you're a pro-choice Republican. That's why it should bother you that Trump directly enabled and cheered on all of these radical, dangerous Republican laws that are so extreme.

Vance is simply wrong about what the Minnesota law says. Walz rightly wasn't interested in trying to quote the Minnesota laws from memory. Here is a fact check from PolitiFact on this issue:

VANCE CLAIM: Vance says Walz ended protections in Minnesota for babies born alive

FACT-CHECK: False

Infanticide, the crime of killing a child within a year of its birth, is illegal in all U.S. states.

In May 2023, Walz, as Minnesota governor, signed legislation updating a state law for "infants who are born alive." This change did not alter the fact that under state law, these babies are protected.

Previously, state law said, "All reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice, including the compilation of appropriate medical records, shall be taken by the responsible medical personnel to preserve the life and health of the born alive infant." The law was updated to instead say medical personnel must "care for the infant who is born alive."

The law's updated version also kept the provision that said, "An infant who is born alive shall be fully recognized as a human person, and accorded immediate protection under the law."

Every person who is born has legal protections under federal and state laws, experts told PolitiFact.

Sorry, my friend. You’re the one who’s just not able to think objectively on this one. The reason Kamala is winning this election is that most Americans have concluded, based on what they’ve seen with their own eyes, that Kamala is both qualified and competent to lead this country. And the more the educated the cohort is, the more it’s likely to see her that way.

Vance, understandably, whips out the biggest dodge of the night for the J6 question. Hope Walz calls him out for it.

Does it make you feel less than to be surrounded by educated people?

JD "Haitian immigrants are eating the cats and dogs" Vance wants us all to be more civil and persuasive with each other.

Walz needs to make clear that this J6 stuff is a future issue too - Trump and Vance are out there promising to contest the legitimacy of the election again.

And then Walz says I agree with you on a lot of this but … cedes the issue. And fails to push back effectively on J6 somehow being fine because Trump didn’t do another violent uprising on J20.

LMAO. Dude, you're flailing...
