I won't even give him guns. Never mind the "well-regulated militia" component of the 2nd Amendment (which the Supremely Unethical Court had on Super Ignore), regulating WEAPONS OF WAR seems like something the founders would have approved of. After all, they approved of a WELL-REGULATED MILITIA, for Christ's sake.

Actually, a good argument is that in most of those Senate races, the incumbent underperformed by 4 to 6 points of what they should have done. Incumbent Senate candidates, even in swing states usually come in several points higher then the Presidential. And then there's PA. No way Casey should have lost that. And he pretty much knew there was a problem by the way he distanced himself from Harris.

Vaccines are not simply your body your choice.

If you get sick then you will probably share those germs and make others sick. You can see the upward trend of measles since the antivaxers have been pushing their disinformation. As well as an upward trend for polio. This isn't equal to a pregnant woman. You know this, you know being around a pregnant woman isn't going to lead to an outbreak.

Everyone has school choice. The right just wants the government to pay for there religious schools. You can send your child to a school of your choice, you simply have to pay for it.

Putting out knowledge of possible issues caused by burning gas stoves is not banning gas stoves.

How would a trump cultists respond? They would say that the person needs to suffer for their choices. So when a person shows up at the doctor with measles, if they refused the vaccine they should be sent home without treatment.

Sometimes I want to respond in kind, then I realize how inhuman that is.

I should have been clear: COVID vaccine mandates not ordinary vaccines. Specifically, those in the military who lost their jobs for refusing the COVID vaccines.
 
I know no one can answer this question, but where does it stop? I mean, where does personal freedom end?

For decades, vaccines were a given. Who was questioning vaccines? Almost no one. Now, some people falsely claim vaccines lead to autism or other maladies and suddenly getting vaccines is about personal freedom.

What's the next arena for personal freedom? We have had guns, obviously. We have "school choice." We have "religious freedom" (which apparently means I should be able to inflict my religion on you in any setting I choose). We have, I guess, freedom from vaccines. What is next? Freedom for smokers? They should be able to fire up any where they want?

They probably would have lost their jobs (or never gotten them) for refusing any other mandated vaccines, too. Blame the cynics and grifters who politicized the COVID vaccine such that a lot of people were tricked into opposing it on ideological grounds.

As others mentioned freedom goes both ways. If they want the freedom to not be vaccinated, so be it, but employers should also have the freedom to not employ them

Also, the antivax movement isn't limiting this to the military COVID mandate.

Were they thrown in jail for their decision? Or did they simply make a personal decision that they prefer to not have the Covid vaccine more than they prefer to keep their job?

Kind of like marijuana smokers? How about the freedom from marijuana smoke (what happened to the cigarette 2nd hand smoke nazis?) and that awful smell that infects lots of big cities.

OMG the government mandated that all citizens purchase EVs? Tell me more.

Liberals don't oppose people choosing any school they want. What they do (rightly) oppose is taxpayer money being used for people to go to private (especially private religious) schools. That isn't a restriction on freedom, it's a restriction on use of taxpayer dollars for any education other than public education. Send your kids to private school if you want, just don't ask me to pay for it.

You could have added that liberals also restricted your freedoms by mandating seatbelts and airbags, establishing automobile emissions standards, establishing air and water pollution standards, passing child labor laws and all sorts of other labor standards (40 hour work week, overtime pay and weekends, OSHA regulations, etc), regulating cigarette advertising, etc. Because there's no freedom more important than conservatives than the freedom to die an early death and force everyone else to as well.

You feel like there’s a big difference between the Covid vaccines and the multiple other vaccines members of the military are required to receive?
