Look through the thread and see who is being an ass?Sorry, I missed that. No need to come in here and be an ass.
Well these are people who would chant USA at a little league world series game.Never understood this attitude. I don't gloat when my political candidates win, or my sports teams. Good game, and move on. I didn't vote for Trump, but he won, lets see if he can deliver.
Who's gonna stop them? At least until the calendar flips 2027I hope ... he does a good gob and that the loones in the heritage foundation are not able to turn the country into a theocracy or a religious dictatorship.
People should certainly attribute anything they cut and paste. I certainly do, and I use quotation marks and italicize direct quotes so it is clear they aren’t my words.Isnt plagiarism disallowed on here??
lol, dude. are you even old enough to vote? you come across like a 12 year old.Any chance you’ll be in chapel hill next Saturday?
I imagine the final deal would look something like:I read where someone predicted that Trump will broker a deal offering eastern Ukraine to Russia with an agreement on both sides to end the conflict.
Ukraine might go for it because they know they will no longer have help from the US. Russia might go for it because it allows him a way to stop the conflict and present it as a victory.
Also, Russia can just wait a time for Ukraine to lower its defensive posture and attack again.
The whole idea makes me throw up because the lack of support from the US would force Ukraine to give major concessions. Trump would present it as some sort genius move but it would essentially be him giving away much of Ukraine to Russia.
That he stumbles into being good as I would define it. I find it improbable but I made the comment as part of a larger conversation I was having with my son.I do not. I mean, what does a good job even look like? What he would consider good, the rest of us would consider a disaster.
When the best hope for the country is that the fascist who was just elected will be too incompetent to carry out his threats, it's really a sad situation.
If you substitute NATO for US, perhaps.I imagine the final deal would look something like:
Russia keeps most of its captured territory in Ukraine.
Russia promises no additional territorial demands.
US provides Ukraine tons of modern, defensive weapons.
US and EU provide security guarantees to Ukraine but no EU membership.
Not great but the reality is that there exists a Western Front stalemate in eastern Ukraine and Ukraine lacks the manpower for a serious offensive campaign necessary to drive the Russians back to their border.
I have no issues with what you say to your son. But yes, improbable is the right word, though I would consider it not strong enough. It's improbable in the same way that it's improbable for Wake Forest to win March Madness this year. That he stumbles into being good as I would define it. I find it improbable but I made the comment as part of a larger conversation I was having with my son.
Yes, I think it will definitely work out best this way; when Republicans fail to do anything to address the significant issues facing our country, they will have no scapegoat to blame.Think about this
If Trump won in 2020, he would’ve had a Democrat House and Senate
More impeachments, no Senate confirmations, no bills passed, and possibly the end of the MAGA movement as an effective political force
But now?
He has the House, Senate, Supreme Court, a popular vote mandate, and an entire country that wants to clean up our elections, close our borders, deport illegals, and hold corrupt politicians accountable
Sometimes I think it had to happen this way
I would agree.I have no issues with what you say to your son. But yes, improbable is the right word, though I would consider it not strong enough. It's improbable in the same way that it's improbable for Wake Forest to win March Madness this year.
I welcome Republicans as well, but as Trump might say, they’re not sending their best.I welcome all conservatives to join me here on the board. It’s been kind of lonely the last few months as one of only a very small handful of Trump supporters who posts here. Hope you guys will stick around.
It’s good for both sides if we all have meaningful dialogue with the other side and try to understand where they’re coming from.
No gloating from me about Trump’s win, but I do hope it will cause some of the liberals on this board to do some soul searching and understand some different perspectives.
lol I think even you can admit that the guy who created the username "45and47" and is copying posts from the "DC Draino" Twitter account is not here for "meaningful dialogue."I welcome all conservatives to join me here on the board.
